Grantees selected under the first call of the year of IJ4EU’s Investigation Support Scheme are invited to an online Q&A and networking session on September 10 at 16:00 CEST.

Organised by the International Press Institute (IPI), the meeting will be a chance for team members from 28 countries to learn more about the support provided by IJ4EU while getting to know each other.

The meeting is by invitation only. Please contact Timothy Large, IJ4EU programme manager at IPI, for more information.

In August, an independent jury awarded a combined €420,000 to 14 cross-border reporting teams under the first round of the Investigation Support Scheme.

Run by the Vienna-based IPI, the scheme is the flagship grant programme of the Investigative Journalism for Europe (IJ4EU) fund.

In 2021, the Investigation Support Scheme will disburse €835,000, offering grants of up to €50,000 to journalistic teams probing transnational subjects of public interest.

A second call is now open. The deadline for applications is October 4 at 23:59 CEST.
